Help Launch Cosmos Chess Club ♟️ & Shape Young Minds Through Strategic Play ♟️
At the New Jersey Chess Club, we believe chess transforms communities—one move at a time. This March, we're expanding our reach to Paterson with the Cosmos Chess Club, a structured youth program designed to cultivate strategic thinking, sportsmanship, and academic confidence. But we can't do it alone.
We're calling on our NJCC community—players, parents, educators, and chess enthusiasts—to volunteer as Chess Program Coordinators for this groundbreaking initiative.
Why Paterson? Why Now?
♟️
Why Paterson? Why Now? ♟️
Paterson represents a critical expansion of our "Colonial Knights" mission. By establishing structured chess education in underserved communities, we're not just teaching openings and endgames—we're building resilience, critical thinking, and future leaders. The Cosmos Chess Club launches March 20th with capacity for 30 students, but our impact depends on dedicated volunteers who believe in chess as a vehicle for positive change.
