Sunday Colonial Rapids Rescheduled for April 27, 2025

Dear Chess Enthusiasts,

We hope this message finds you well and in high spirits. We regret to inform you that due to the Easter holiday falling on tomorrow's originally scheduled date for our Rated Chess Tournament, we must postpone the event until next Sunday at the same time (1PM).

Please note:

  • All participants who registered for tomorrow's tournament have already been issued a full refund via their original payment method.

  • For those still interested in competing next Sunday - no further action is required as your registration remains valid for the rescheduled date.

  • If anyone wishes to withdraw from participation or requires additional assistance regarding refunds/transfers prior to then – kindly contact us promptly so we may address such matters accordingly before registrations reopen post-Easter week.

We understand how disappointing last-minute changes can be after making plans. However, NJCC believes it is important to prioritize our community's ability to celebrate holidays with loved ones while maintaining opportunities for engaging chess competitions.

Thank-you very much again everyone! We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by these necessary adjustments and greatly appreciate all understanding shown and Wishing each person a great Weekend ahead!
