Final Tips for Quad Success
Know the tiebreaks — If two players tie, head-to-head result decides the quad winner.
Manage the clock — With G/30; d5, the increment kicks in after move 1. Don't blitz early; use your time on critical middlegame decisions.
Notate carefully — Every move is recorded. Clean notation helps with post-game analysis and any disputes.
Analyze between rounds — Use the break to review your game with your opponent. It's the fastest way to improve.
Have fun — Quads build camaraderie. You'll likely face players near your level in a friendly, focused atmosphere.
