Blitz Chess Tournament (Cancelled)

  • Location: Our tournaments are held at our Morristown location, except on holidays.

  • Registration: HERE

    • Online: Closes at midnight the day before the tournament. Entry fee is $30.

    • Onsite: Available from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM on the day of the tournament. Entry fee is $40. Capacity is limited to 50 participants, so register early to secure your spot.

  • Rounds:

    • First round starts at 12:00 PM sharp.

    • The tournament typically consists of 7-10 rounds, depending on participation.

  • Time Control: G/5 + 2-second increment.

  • Prizes:

    • 1st Place: $70 cash prize.

    • 2nd & 3rd Place: Free entry credit for the next tournament.

  • Additional Details:

    • USCF-rated, open to all ages and skill levels.

    • Chess sets, scoresheets, and pencils are provided. Players must bring their own clocks.
