Cancellation of 2025 1st Morristown Summer Open

The New Jersey Chess Club regrets to inform everyone that we need to cancel our 2025 1st Morristown Summer Open. After careful consideration and discussions with our team over the past few days, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel this event due to low registration numbers.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who registered for the tournament. Your support and enthusiasm for chess are greatly appreciated. As a result of the cancellation, all entry fees will be fully refunded and processed within 3-5 business days.

We understand the disappointment this news may bring to our chess community. However, we believe it is in the best interest of all participants to ensure a fair and competitive tournament experience. We remain committed to providing high-quality chess events and will keep you informed about future tournaments and activities.
